CITIZEN BY Q2BSTUDIO

Any application your company needs, built from Teams and governed by you

Citizen is an agent that works inside Microsoft Teams: your team asks for the app in natural language or drops an Excel file, Citizen proposes a plan, waits for your approval and builds it with React, Node and SQL Server. Then it publishes to your Azure: first to Test with its own URL and your brand, and to Production only when a person confirms it.

A development agent, not a low-code tool

Citizen is not Power Apps or a visual builder: it is an agent that writes real web applications. It creates your company's GitHub repository, designs the SQL Server data model and deploys the app to Azure App Service with its own database per environment.

Work starts where your team already is: Teams. Nobody installs anything new. The app is requested, the agent asks what is missing, proposes a plan with steps, roles and authorisations, and does not execute until a person presses OK PLAN.

Every application is born with the company's rules: common React + Node stack, SQL Server on Azure, corporate identity and role-based permissions. Users cannot change those rules; IT defines them once and they apply to every app.

THE CHALLENGE

When the business needs software and IT cannot keep up

Business ideas pile up in the IT queue while people solve things on their own with spreadsheets and scattered tools.

  • Endless IT queue

An internal process that moves money waits six months because larger projects are ahead of it. By the time it ships, the business need has already changed.

  • Ownerless solutions

Someone builds an application with an assistant, it works, and nobody knows where the code lives, who maintains it or what data it stores.

  • No environment, no control

Publishing to an improvised server leaves the application without backups, without separation between testing and live, and without any way to audit changes.

APPROACH

How Citizen works inside your company

Citizen is an agent in Teams: you describe the application, it builds it, publishes it to your Azure and leaves it governed from day one.

  1. Asked in plain language

Anyone on the team describes the process they want to solve, with its fields, permissions and rules. No need to write code or pick a technology stack.

  2. Built to standard

Citizen generates the application on the house stack —frontend, API and database— applying the same access control and practices as every other system.

  3. Published to your Azure

Deployment goes to App Service and SQL Server inside your own subscription, with a separate test environment and a controlled production step, not to some random server.

  4. IT keeps command

Every application is inventoried with a business owner and a technical owner. IT sees what was created, with which data and in which environment, and decides what gets promoted.

DELIVERABLES

What stays in your organisation

It is not a demo with an expiry date: it is a production application with its code, its database and its documentation.

  • Application in production

Frontend, API and relational database running in Azure, with create, edit, listings and permissions matching the process described.

  • Repository and code

The code lives in your GitHub organisation, not in an opaque tool. Your team can read it, audit it and keep evolving it.

  • Test environment

Every application has its own test environment to validate changes before publishing, plus a clear procedure to move to production.

  • Governed inventory

A register of applications with owner, purpose and data processed: the basis for answering an audit without hunting for lost folders.

TRUST

Same standard as the rest of your platform

A platform built by the team that has been delivering enterprise software since 2008, with offices in Barcelona and Madrid and remote collaboration across Spain, Europe, LATAM and the US. Secure development practices and ENS awareness; code and data always stay inside your perimeter.

  • Real React + Node web applications with SQL Server, not prototypes that stay in a demo.
  • One GitHub repository per project: the code belongs to your company and any developer can maintain it.
  • Automatic Test with its own URL and PROD with human confirmation and a custom domain if needed.
  • The same governance for every app: brand, roles, permissions, secrets and Azure SQL backups.
