Javier Cantera, president of Grupo BLC (a human resources company), states that the Employee 3.0 must now work from anywhere and at any time, with technologies and spaces needing to adapt to the worker – the concept of Employee 3.0 implies that productivity is no longer determined by a specific schedule and location. Javier Cantera even goes further and says that today, a world without technology is unimaginable, because, as he puts it, "there is no talent without technology, and there is no technology without talent."
Companies must use new technologies to create value for the business, although the personal and social relations component will remain necessary no matter how much technology exists. This social component is a way to create and add value, commitment, and participation in companies.
So, a necessary balance must be found between the technological and the "human." Enhancing social relationships and re-"humanizing" the business world, while also leveraging technologies and the digital world to facilitate work processes.
