Confidential smart contracts run inside Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) to deliver secure, private, and auditable operations such as decentralized electronic voting. Although public verification of execution details is limited by the secrecy of the information, the system can issue integrity proofs and execution evidence that enable audits by authorities or authorized parties.

Phase 4 Response. The final result is published on the blockchain or returned to the requester according to privacy policies. In an e-voting system, the aggregated result can be published along with proofs that the computation was correctly performed within participating TEE nodes, preserving individual privacy and maintaining trust in the process.

Limitations and guarantees. Full public verification is often limited when data remains confidential, but execution integrity is ensured within TEE nodes through cryptographic mechanisms and consensus protocols. This enables the creation of auditable and accountable systems without sacrificing privacy.
