This post is my submission for the DEV Education track Build Apps with Google AI Studio and describes the Hotel Brendle Orchestrator project developed as a functional prototype.
Hotel Brendle Orchestrator Project
Hotel Brendle Orchestrator is a web application designed to manage hotel administrative tasks and optimize the management of guest feedback, marketing materials, and internal communications. Built leveraging Gemini's capabilities in Google AI Studio, the solution integrates a multimodal summarization and analysis engine capable of processing text, audio, and video to extract actionable insights, priorities, and trends in real time. The development followed a rapid prototyping approach that took the idea from concept to a functional demo in just a few stages.
Development experience and learnings
The biggest lesson from the process was the speed with which a complex idea can be transformed into a usable application. Gemini demonstrated the ability to orchestrate multiple components and generate advanced summarization and analysis features from a high-level approach. I was impressed by the deep integration of the multimodal analysis modules and how this opens up possibilities for applying the same architecture to other domains, for example in cybersecurity to analyze network traffic or threat intelligence logs.
Demo and follow-up
There is a public demo and a community post where the prototype and dashboard screenshots are shown. The prototype serves as a foundation for incorporating new features such as continuous data ingestion, automated alerts, and advanced KPI visualizations.
