Celebrate!: Beyond the Code - WLH Challenge
Celebrate! is a platform for planning events like shopping online: add venues, catering, and equipment to the cart and check out to organize everything from a party to a wedding in a single app. This idea combines usability, user-centered design, and scalable technical solutions.

Beyond the code, what was truly valuable were the human connections, unexpected collaborations, and the energy of a global community. In every technical decision, the pulse of cooperation and mutual support was felt.
Team formation and dynamics: we met on the hackathon's networking channels and, although we came from different backgrounds, we shared a passion for innovation. Working as a pair forced us to divide roles, prioritize tasks, and leverage our complementary strengths.
Communication and workflow: we adopted daily meetings to align progress, documented key decisions, and used brainstorming sessions to generate creative solutions. This discipline was key to iterating quickly and staying focused on the user experience.
Community connections: the hackathon's Discord was our virtual coworking space. We exchanged resources with other teams, received immediate feedback, and broadened our perspective thanks to developers from different countries. Collaboration between teams showed that competition can coexist with solidarity.
Mentorship and learning: mentors provided problem-solving strategies, user-centered design best practices, and technical architecture recommendations. Those insights elevated the quality of the product and the ambition of the project.
Memorable moments: late-night coding sessions created a continuous wave of creativity; the community shared solutions and encouragement when obstacles arose; and cultural exchange enriched our approach to global problems.

Impact on personal and professional growth: this experience reinforced the value of collaborative development, community building, and innovation with global reach. We learned to integrate feedback, optimize processes, and think about scalability from the initial design.
