We present the PRFI protocol, an open source system that converts API calls into real PRFIC tokens through a 100% decentralized architecture with Proof-of-Work inspired by Bitcoin but adapted to the world of backend integrations and automations

PRFI works without central servers, is lightweight, fraud-resistant, and operates on the BNB Smart Chain to ensure scalability and low costs

How it works

1) Your system generates API events as usual

2) The PRFI client in Python processes those events locally

3) For every 1000 unique and valid events, the client attempts to mine a PRFIC block

4) The Proof-of-Work hash is generated locally, signed with the private key, and published on chain

5) If on-chain validation approves the block, the PRFIC token is credited directly to your address, without intermediaries

Architecture and security: open source local client that avoids central backends; use of Merkle Trees, nonces, cryptographic signatures, and timestamping for anti-fraud protection; Proof-of-Work inspired by Bitcoin but calibrated for event volume and efficiency

Blockchain: deployed on BNB Smart Chain for its balance between decentralization, performance, and cost

Tokenomics: fixed supply of 122000000 PRFIC with 80% distributed automatically via event mining and 20% reserved for the protocol foundation treasury

Real use case example: if your payment system generates 5000 daily API calls across transactions, callbacks, and notifications, you could generate up to 5 PRFIC per day, transforming operational activity into creditable digital value
