Artificial-Intelligence-

GSoC Week 9 kicked off by discussing pending tasks in the CircuitVerse mobile app simulator. The core of the app is the simulator where you can build, test, and learn about logic circuits. This mobile version replicates the web simulator experience by integrating into Flutter with the flutter_inappwebview package and offers a personal electronics lab in the palm of your hand.

The simulator supports everything from simple logic gates to complex sequential circuits, timing diagram plotting, automatic circuit generation, and exploration of standard ICs. Although the functionality is generally good, during the week we detected and resolved several bugs that affected the user experience, such as the image download that didn't work, the user manual link that wouldn't open, the theme application that wasn't applied correctly, and a broken discussion forum link.

First round of debugging I worked on those issues and consulted with my mentor Hardik, who recommended I connect with Harsh Rao, another collaborator working on the desktop app and Vue frontend project. The conversation was very productive and led us to several practical conclusions. The theme issue turned out to be an isolated behavior of my phone since it worked fine on other devices. The manual link was fixed by following a perspective that Harsh provided. As for the discussion forum, in the web version selecting the same option led to a non-existent page, and we decided the simplest solution was to remove that option from the web so it automatically disappears from the app as well.

Combining GSoC with other responsibilities in addition to debugging, I was completing the Y Combinator application and attending an interview for startup funding allocation. I mentioned it to Hardik and he supported me by giving me the necessary space and helping me plan the following week to close the project with the highest possible quality.

The best part of the week was collaborating with Harsh Rao. Not only did we clarify technical issues, but we discovered that we both faced similar challenges even in tasks we had originally proposed. Amid technical conversations, we also talked about life, university, and future plans, and we shared unanimous admiration for Aboo, the organization's administrator, for his knowledge and support, although with that slight respectful fear of not wanting to disappoint him.

Most fun and embarrassing moment in a meeting with Aboo and Hardik, my laptop failed just before the call. I decided to connect from my phone to present the simulator, but when sharing the app, the screen appeared empty even though I had compiled it minutes earlier. It was embarrassing, but both were very understanding, and the situation ended in laughter and learning.

Final reflection this week was a mix of planning, errors, and fixes, but also constructive conversations and teamwork. We are getting closer to the goal, and soon you will see the CircuitVerse mobile app available on the Play Store. GSoC shows that it's not just about code but about collaboration, learning, and even the occasional tech failure that ends up teaching more than expected.
