I have worked as a contract developer for quite some time, and every time I need to recommend a deployment platform to a small business, I think about how difficult it is to find an affordable option that is easy for a small team to manage and doesn't break the budget.

In a few days, I developed a prototype with key features for a studio: owners can create organizations, invite members, and control permissions; owners and admins can manage bookings, sessions, deliverables, and assign teams; there is payment tracking, status control, and expense and client management. It's not a complete studio solution, but it is a functional and useful MVP thanks to approaches like Railway's that speed up time-to-market.
During deployment, I had minor issues with pnpm workspaces that I resolved by consulting the documentation and adjusting the template. The experience shows that Railway facilitates the deployment flow but requires reviewing certain details when working with monorepos or complex templates.
