The strategies and processes that allow you to convert traffic into customers are not easy to explain; I could spend all day writing and still not be able to explain everything. However, there are some specific and very effective strategies that allow you to achieve the conversion of your traffic into customers to make all the traffic on your page become actual customers, from beginning to end. Content Marketing or vulgarly known as SEO Everything starts with content. This content is framed within an even larger strategy called "content marketing". In recent years, "content marketing" went from being a bunch of written articles uploaded to low-quality directories, to a very large range of alternatives that allows you to attract new customers to your business. Nowadays, content can take the form of videos, podcasts (internet radio programs), eBooks and reports, audios, presentations, documents, research, infographics and graphics; in short, a huge range of ways to show our message. Content marketing is an art in itself, very important when it comes to attracting traffic. Content, like social media, are two of the two best ways to attract traffic. Both catch people's attention, but not just any people, but the right people: that is, our potential customers. Content can take various forms. Content can be used to attract traffic, then to make this traffic convert into potential customers, and finally, to convert them into actual customers. For example, you can use your blog articles to catch people's attention. Then, from these "people" you can extract the most relevant information (usually being the name and email address) to add them to your mailing list and/or make direct contact. However, content does not have the same effect without the following strategy: social media. Social Media Social media are the second most important way to attract customers to your business. Without them, your content would not be shared, so it would not reach your potential customers. Let's keep in mind that social media mainly attract B2C audiences and not B2B audiences, so everything will depend on the services you offer. Beyond a "boosting" effect of our content, social media serve another even more important purpose: communication with your customers (potential or actual). Following the previous example, let's suppose that a potential customer, whom we will call Juan, is interested in your company. He came to know you through your blog, since a friend of his shared your content on Twitter. Using the AIDA model (attention-> interest -> desire -> action), your content only caught Juan's attention, nothing more. Now, Juan wants to know a little more about your company. He will not only be able to do that with your blog, but he will do it through social media. He will ask you questions, he will share your content, he will participate in your online community (for example, in your Facebook group), etc. If you let the opportunity pass, then you are doing a bad job.
