This article analyzes why human intervention remains essential in software testing despite advances in artificial intelligence. Although AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) are increasingly used in coding through 'vibe coding', human beings are still needed for oversight, especially in usability and accessibility testing. LLMs are trained to understand imperfect inputs and fill in gaps, making them poor usability testers, as they cannot identify what is unintuitive for human users. In accessibility testing, LLMs lack the ability to recognize issues such as poor color contrast or keyboard navigation problems. Additionally, humans must manage test risk assessment and accountability, as AI cannot make justifiable decisions. The article concludes that while AI can assist with test data preparation, documentation, and analysis, human expertise remains crucial because quality software must ultimately serve human users.
