Comparison of the top 10 AI providers for internal processes: Spain 2024
The 2024 Gartner report shows that 75% of Spanish SMEs already use artificial intelligence to optimize internal processes. In cities like Barcelona and Madrid, adoption is especially notable: 73% of SMEs in Barcelona have integrated AI solutions, while the technology districts of Gràcia and Chamartín lead implementation in the country. Sectors such as construction, wholesale trade, and pharmaceuticals report clear improvements in costs and efficiency.
Key results and practical trends
Companies in the construction sector in Barcelona have reduced costs by up to 40% through automation and predictive models. Companies based in the Chamartín technology corridor report average efficiency gains of 30% after integrating AI agents and automated workflows. In wholesale trade, experts recommend prioritizing AI for inventory management and demand forecasting. The pharmaceutical industry leverages algorithms to optimize supply chains and quality control.
Common tools and costs
Among the most widely used software for internal processes, solutions such as HubSpot, Oracle NetSuite, Pipedrive, and Asana stand out, with typical fees ranging between €1.2K and €3.6K per year. Custom application development or custom software to integrate AI typically ranges between €8K and €25K depending on scope. In Madrid, the most common technology stacks for these developments include Vue.js with Firebase, Django with PostgreSQL, and Ruby on Rails.
How to choose a provider and tools
To select an AI provider for internal processes, it is advisable to evaluate sector experience, integration capability with existing systems, regulatory compliance, and security. Return on investment is usually measured in reduced operating costs, improved response times, and fewer human errors. We recommend a phased plan: evaluate providers, implement pilots, and measure ROI with clear indicators.
