The world was made for both women and men

The modern world has been designed around the Reference Man, ignoring differences in women's physiology and needs. From overly cold office temperatures to ill-fitting safety equipment and crash tests that do not consider female bodies, these decisions affect

At Q2BSTUDIO, we understand that technology and design should work for everyone, not just a select group. However, the reality is that many products and systems have historically been designed with a single model in mind: the 'Reference Man'.

This concept, based on an average man between 20 and 30 years old, has influenced everything from the ideal office temperature to vehicle safety, overlooking the physiological and ergonomic differences of women and other groups.

A clear example of this is temperature in workspaces. For decades, standards were defined using men's metabolic rates, resulting in offices that are too cold for most women. This not only affects comfort but also the productivity and well-being of female workers.

In the field of occupational safety, many regulations were created with male-dominated sectors in mind, ignoring the specific risks of jobs where women predominate, such as healthcare and education. This has led to many professionals facing dangerous conditions without adequate protection.

Technological devices are no exception. From phones designed for larger hands to voice assistants that better understand male commands, technology has shown a clear lack of inclusion. Even in software development, algorithms often reflect biases that reinforce these inequalities.

The automotive sector reflects another major problem: crash test dummies have traditionally been designed for male bodies, increasing the risk of serious injury for women in traffic accidents.

At Q2BSTUDIO, we believe in the importance of developing truly inclusive technology and digital solutions. We specialize in creating products that consider user diversity, ensuring that design and functionality meet the needs of all people, regardless of gender, height, or specific condition.

Building a more equitable world requires questioning current standards and adopting new design methodologies. Technology has the potential to remove these barriers, but only if we consciously choose to move toward inclusive solutions.

The future must be for everyone, and at Q2BSTUDIO we are committed to that vision. Digital transformation must be a tool for equity, not another barrier in everyday life.
