Coordinate products, hospitals, and surgical equipment without losing traceability
JAEL Medical markets and implants specialized surgical material for spine, knee and other trauma interventions. Their activity requires coordinating high-value products, stock availability, hospitals, surgeons, intervention dates and deliveries in different parts of Spain.
The challenge was to centralise a particularly sensitive operation, where each order had to be linked to the hospital, the intervention and the material used. A lack of connection between sales, warehouse, logistics, and planning could lead to availability errors, delays, or difficulties in reconstructing an implant's history.
In addition, it was necessary to coordinate JAEL Medical's own medical team, which participates in interventions carried out in hospitals throughout the national territory, ensuring that each surgery had the necessary personnel, implants and instruments.
The solution needed to provide a complete view of the business and maintain accurate traceability from product receipt to use or final delivery.
