The problem: i18n is tedious and often avoided
The routine is well known: install libraries, wrap the app in a provider, search and replace every hardcoded text, generate translation keys and json files, translate manually, debug, repeat. It's boring and error-prone, and worst of all, it slows down the iteration speed that developers love

The idea was simple: what if we could internationalize React and Next.js apps automatically without touching the terminal

i18nify is a web platform that scans your project and converts it into a fully internationalized codebase. You upload your project, select the target language, and i18nify does the rest
Among its capabilities: it detects the project type (React, Next.js, or Vite), analyzes the code and locates hardcoded texts, injects the useTranslation call where needed, replaces strings with calls to the translation function, and generates structured json translation files

Real example: imagine a React component that displays a welcome message. i18nify identifies that text, extracts a translation key, and modifies the component to use the i18n system, while also creating the corresponding entry in the translation file. So instead of manually searching and replacing, the entire process is done safely and reproducibly
