Today I had continuous classes at university without breaks; it was a somewhat hectic but productive day.
Topics covered: • Linked lists • Reversing a linked list using a recursive method, learning to break a large problem into subproblems, solve them, and then combine solutions • Cycle detection in a linked list solved with two methods: one using a hashmap and the other with the classic hare and tortoise algorithm • Problem of finding the starting point of the cycle in the list: I understood the general approach but the intuition was a bit blurry; I will review it tomorrow
It's already 1 am and I have classes tomorrow, so I won't be able to dedicate time to development, but I will try to watch at least 20 minutes of video to keep the momentum. I hope to complete the assigned tasks for the weekend and be more productive. Good night.
