Facebook has released for the first time in its history metrics regarding individual countries, allowing insight into the social network's growth in specific territories and knowledge of which countries are experiencing the greatest increase in mobile users. To date, the firm only provided general figures or statistics by regions with multiple countries. The data, sent to its marketing partners in Europe and the Middle East and obtained by TechCrunch, make it possible to take a look at the Spanish case. In principle, Mark Zuckerberg's social network has 12 million daily active users in our country and 18 million monthly active users. 58% of Spanish internet users are on Facebook and 67% of monthly users who connect from the Iberian Peninsula return daily. In addition, in Spain there are 8.1 million daily active users who connect from mobile and 13 million monthly active users who access from these devices, 32% of Spanish mobile users. The data also reveal that overall Facebook has 1.19 billion users, of which 874 million access the platform each month and 507 million participate in it actively every day.
