Control critical logistics operations with reliable, real-time information
Ferrer Abelló needed to coordinate carriers, vehicles, routes and loading and unloading operations within an industrial environment where every movement had to be correctly recorded.
The challenge was to connect the trucks with the platform to know the real status of each operation, avoiding depending on manual communications or fragmented information. It was necessary to know when a vehicle arrived, what product it was transporting, where it was and how the unloading was progressing.
It was also essential to control the opening and closing of the valves, along with variables such as pressure, flow rate, discharged volume and tank level. Any anomalies had to be detected quickly and recorded for later review.
The solution had to offer a clear experience for both operational staff and logistics managers, allowing them to monitor activity, consult histories and make decisions faster and more safely.
