Monitor fleets in real-time with accurate information, alarms, and regulatory compliance
SpeedFleet had to solve a critical need for companies with commercial vehicles: to know at all times where each vehicle is, what activity it is carrying out and whether the operation complies with legal and efficiency requirements.
The project required a solid infrastructure to receive and process GPS data in real time, display exact positions on the map, record routes, stops, mileage and speeds, and transform all this information into useful data for decision-making.
Another of the great challenges was the management of alarms and sensors. The platform had to detect relevant events such as low battery, entry or exit of zones, after-hours use, high temperature, door opening, power take-offs or any critical signal sent by the connected devices.
In addition, it was necessary to incorporate complete tachograph management, allowing driving and rest times to be controlled, as well as automating remote downloads without manual intervention.
